Talus Motorsports is built around time in the car. We acquire and develop purpose-built machines—vintage race cars and capable 4×4s—with the intent to drive them, learn from them, and refine them. The goal is not just acquisition and storage, These cars are meant to be driven, and driven hard. We start at a base platform and drive. Once we can collect enough data about what is best, we make a decision on a direction that works best.

Most cars here are built through iteration. make a change(if needed), validate it, and keep what proves itself. Setup work and modifications such as, alignment, tires, gearing, cooling, damping, etc., are observed in practice, and then built upon. Notes, results, and times are quantifiable records of what worked and what didn’t, and why. Over time, that creates a consistent method for producing what is simply the most enjoyable to experience.
